Odin uses passwordless authentication. There is one continue screen: the same actions sign you in if you already have access, or start a pay-as-you-go workspace if you do not.

Continue with email

Enter your email

Go to odin.borghq.io, enter your email, and click Continue with email. You can also start with Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub.

Check your inbox

You’ll receive an email from Odin containing a six-digit verification code. The code expires after a few minutes.

Enter the code

On Verify email address, type the six-digit code into the two groups of three boxes. The code submits when all six digits are entered, or you can click Continue.
If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder or request another code. If verification reports a connection problem, reconnect and select Continue to retry; you do not need to re-enter the code.
If this is your first time, Odin then asks you to create an organisation: a name and a primary domain. Use your company domain. Personal inboxes such as Gmail cannot be claimed as that domain. If the connection drops after you create your organisation, retry with the same domain to recover the organisation already created. Retrying does not create another workspace. If self-serve signup is unavailable, an unfinished account is taken to the demo request page instead. If your organisation was saved but setup is incomplete, select Finish setup to retry with the same details. If a connection is still unavailable after the workspace is ready to enter, Home shows Retry setup so you can resume later.

Sign in with a passkey

If you’ve registered a passkey (fingerprint, Face ID, or a hardware security key), Odin uses it automatically, so there’s no separate button to click. When you enter your email and click Continue with email, Odin checks for a passkey before it sends a code. If it finds one, your device prompts you to authenticate and the button reads Waiting for passkey. Confirm the prompt and you’re signed in, without an email or code. If you cancel the prompt, have no passkey on that device, or your browser doesn’t support passkeys, Odin emails you a six-digit code instead.
On supported browsers, your saved passkey can also appear as an autofill suggestion on the email field, so you can sign in before clicking Continue with email.

Sign in with single sign-on

If your organisation has single sign-on set up, there is no separate button. Enter your work email and select Continue with email. Odin recognises the domain and sends you to your identity provider to authenticate, then you come back signed in, without a code or a passkey prompt. You can also open Odin from your identity provider’s dashboard or app launcher, for example an Okta tile, if your organisation uses SAML. This only applies to email addresses on a domain your Admins have bound to the connection. Everyone else keeps the usual passkey or one-time-code flow. If your organisation has turned on mandatory SSO, one-time codes, passkeys, Google and GitHub are blocked for those addresses, and Odin tells you to use your identity provider. If sign-in fails with a message about your identity provider, see SSO troubleshooting. Signing out ends your Odin session. With SAML, Odin also signs you out of your identity provider where it supports single logout.

Continue with Google or GitHub

Instead of entering your email, you can click Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub and choose that account. Odin signs you in directly, without an email or code. The same access rules apply as with email: an existing organisation membership signs you in, a matching domain join adds you to that workspace, and a new address creates a pay-as-you-go organisation. Unverified Google accounts are refused. The old sign-up URL redirects to this same continue screen.

First time

You do not need an invite to start a pay-as-you-go workspace. Continue with Google, GitHub, or email; after verification, create your organisation. If your company already uses Odin, an existing member can invite you, or domain join can let anyone with a matching work-email domain join automatically. Personal inboxes never join someone else’s organisation that way. For Enterprise sales, the continue screen has a Looking for Enterprise? Book a demo link to the demo request page. That page is for talking to the Borg team, not a failure state for a missing account. The form also links to the legal agreements and the privacy policy. Accepting terms for your organisation still happens after you are signed in, as described on the terms page.

Switching organisations

If you belong to multiple organisations, switch between them using the organisation selector in the sidebar. Your session persists across switches, so you do not need to sign in again.
